My family had a standard and no well.

The author

James Becton

James Becton has carried water, jumped out of airplanes, run factory floors, buried businesses he built with his own hands, and stood back up every single time. He served as a United States Army Airborne Paratrooper, then spent more than thirty years leading operations at MillerCoors, Sharp Electronics, McKesson, and General Motors.

He has hired people, grown people, promoted people, and let people go, and he watched one truth prove itself over and over: resumes lie, and pressure tells the truth. That truth became this book. He is an ordained minister, an MBA, and a builder. He lives and builds in the Memphis area. And he is only getting started.
